The SPOOKTACLULAR Hallowe’en Parade

Sebastien G., Local News

Every Hallowe’en there is a spooky Hallowe’en parade for all of us in New York City. It is a fun place to bring your friends and family. This year there were 50,000 costume puppeteers, dancers and artists. You could dress up in your costume and could join the parade with all the crew. There were a bunch of activities including dances, songs, frightening haunted houses, graveyards bouncy houses and spookier spots that you could see. If you come at the right time, you can see them creating the puppets and costumes. Some costumes even go up to 50ft tall. People are free to roam around and leave and come back whenever they feel like it. All you have to do is bring a costume. In all this would be a great trip with your friends and family. It ran up to 6th Avenue from Spring Street to 16th street in Manhattan. The village of the Halloween parade was on October 31, 2018 and ran from 7-10:30 pm.

Throughout New York State there were many Hallowe’en celebrations.  There was a haunted history trail that is full of ghost hunts, guided tours, haunted inns and more. You could eat at Belhurst castle Big tree Inn, bull heads inn, Calaboose Grill and more. Durand Eastman Park was full of ghost stories that are surrounding the tails of the white lady in Rochester, New York. You can spot the actual white lady there, but it was kind of a drive.
